The impact of our project

• MJSK gave confidence to the millions of citizens and various districts, blocks, villages & cities of the state of Jharkhand.
• The software application also enabled an online review, nature, and compliance of the grievances.
• Citizens could view the status of their application and upload evidence related to the registered grievance online using their allotted registration number on the portal at any internet access point.
• The problem areas in Jharkhand were being identified, which were more complaint-prone. Such areas were then subjected to research; remedial measures were then suggested to the Department concerned.
• The nature & gravity of grievance helped the government to formulate policies and schemes.
• Significant development of MJSK is the systemized process that has been established, as the entire administration at State, District, and Block levels are prepared to give attention to public grievances through MJSK.
• A hard focus on outcomes had driven the system to ensure positive solutions. Attempts are made to offer a fair and acceptable solution and no applicant has ever left without any firm reply to his grievance. As the Chief Minister himself has a great commitment to this program; there is greater attention in resolving cases successfully.
• Specially designed software for the MJSK enables the government to generate reports at the micro-level. This helps the government to identify the non-performers as well as the problem areas.

Our Achievements in Grievance Redressal Mechanism

• The MJSK gives satisfaction to common citizens as they get a chance to present their case to the Chief Minister personally. Since all the stakeholders are connected in real-time, neither the aggrieved citizen nor the concerned officer gets a chance to hide or manipulate the facts of the case. This is the crux of the success of the system. The fact that he is given a justified hearing gives contentment to the common man; it also ensures a high level of accountability and transparency. Quantitatively over 90% of applications to MJSK have had positive results.
• Many repetitive grievances have led to certain policy decisions, thereby eliminating the cause of the occurrence of such grievances. Thus it has served as an effective connect and feedback mechanism too. The citizens and the administration are able to understand and appreciate each other’s viewpoints and practical difficulties better.
• An effective mechanism has been developed, which aware people of new government welfare schemes, its scope, nature and mode of implementations.
